Night train to Baku

after almost four weeks it was time to leave Georgia. I took the night train to Azerbaijan to catch a ferry there across the Caspian sea.
I encountered my first attempt at bribery when the conductor offered me a compartment for myself for 30 USD, as I shared one with two women in the almost empty coach. it was as much as the train ticket had cost and I had to laugh instead of bargaining. I didn't care to share anyways.
Unfortunately I couldn't take pictures when the costum officers passed in the coach. After them someone passed with a Geiger-meter wearing a uniform that seemed to come from first World War. A surreal scene.
